Patty loves to cuddle and play fetch, and enjoys car rides and hamburgers. She was found as a stray, and is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. Her tag number is A33605146.

The dog is 3 years old and weighs 51 pounds. She is spayed, walks easy on a leash, takes treats gently and knows the “sit” command.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

This Oscar is no grouch

Oscar is a very cute, active kitten who was born in a foster home after his mom was rescued from the city streets. He is in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.

The cat gets along with everyone he meets, and would love a playmate in his new permanent home. His sisters, Spot and Eightball, are also available for adoption.

Oscar, 4 months old, is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
